KHENG HUA

Whats the secret ingredient to great hosting?
The secret ingredient to hosting is to enjoy yourself. Once you're enjoying yourself, so will your guests!
Do you have any pet peeves as a host?
My pet peeve as a host is people who come to a social event such as a party and don't want to be social!

SU-LYN
Entrepreneur/ Communicator/ Thoughtful connector
What's the secret ingredient to great hosting?
The guest list. I like bringing together people who will genuinely enjoy one another (rarely the same mix twice) and balancing introverts and extroverts so everyone feels at ease
Which is the most memorable gathering you've hosted and why?
I can't pick just one – my benchmark keeps evolving. But I love when guests slowly connect the dots over dinner and realise why we've brought them together. There's a special energy in the room when that happens; it always feels a little magical.
Su-Lyn is wearing STOLEN Arya Dress in Sand (Top) and Athena Dress in Gold (Bottom) and using tableware of the Mushimeganebooks collection from ARTIFACTT.

JANICE KOH
Actor/ Voice Coach
Do you have any pet peeves as a host?
When I have too much leftovers in my fridge at the end of the night! This sometimes happen when I over-estimate what's needed. So I always make sure I have disposable containers ready for guests to do takeaways!
Which is the most memorable gathering you've hosted and why?
My wedding party 26 years ago! It was a roomful of no more than 20 guests, all of whom were either immediate family or closest friends. For once, I felt no pressure as host to take care of everyone because they were all there to celebrate us!
Janice is wearing STOLEN Nola Jacket and Liam Pants in Sand (Top) and Eli Dress in Ruby (Bottom) and using tableware of the Ann Demeulemeester’s Dé collection and Marie Michielssen’s La Mère Collection from ARTIFACTT.
